Amazon surpassed Roku’s 29 million active users, saying they have 34 million Fire TV users, making Fire TV devices the top streaming player in the world. Amazon Fire TV has become the number one media player in the US, UK, Germany, India and Japan. Amazon’s Fire TV offerings include a range of price points, from a $25 streaming dongle to a $180 box, making it accessible to a variety of demographics.

Additional findings include:

• 38% of adult US broadband users report watching Amazon Prime Video.
• 30% of direct-to-consumer video subscriptions occur through Amazon Channels within Amazon Prime Video.
